A Ride Through the Heart of Vintage Motorcycle Culture

Just a quick note. Because I got a new helmet and need a new mount for my camera, I don't have many pictures to share of my travels recently. I reckon most of you just scroll through and look at the pics anyway, so why waste time writing about things if there's not photos to … Continue reading A Ride Through the Heart of Vintage Motorcycle Culture

The Road To Sturgis: Motorcycle Mission

Well Sturgis Rally 2025 is in the books. I am beginning my journey toward Kentucky in the morning. I'll back up though and give a recap. As usual, the only reason I would go to this event is supporting a charity. This time it was Motorcycle Missions (MM). It was my second event with them … Continue reading The Road To Sturgis: Motorcycle Mission

Milwaukee and Motorcycle Missions

Not only did I make it to Kentucky since my last post, but I then went north to Milwaukee, for the Harley Homecoming event, where I met up with the people at Motorcycle Missions. I'm in the process of moving from southern Arizona to Kentucky, via Lake Tahoe, California, but with it being mostly interstate, there is little to get excited about as far as photography is concerned. I spent some time in Las Vegas helping a … Continue reading Eastward: navigating change

The main thing is, things must be getting checked off whatever list is in our head, or we wouldn't likely feel it. The last two weeks … Continue reading Keep Them Doggies Rollin’

The Final Leg of 2024

This really was being on my last leg. Tires all worn out or leaking air, out of food and clean clothes, out of money, and nothing but miles of desert between me and the end of Road Trip: 2024.

A small colony of stray cats sit on a large grill outside a gas station and corner store, lounging in the afternoon shade.

Shadowing The Sierras

A lot can happen in a week when you're on the road. This time, the end came. The end to this chapter at least. I'm technically "off the road" for the winter, arriving near Bisbee, Arizona last night. My most recent post had me not even in California yet. The only thing to do is … Continue reading Shadowing The Sierras
